CAMP Dynapro at Overland Expo West 2026
The CAMP Dynapro Experience at Overland Expo West 2026 showcased Hankook’s commitment to educating and connecting with overlanding enthusiasts while gathering valuable feedback on the Dynapro off-road tire lineup designed specifically for adventure vehicles.
Industry veterans including Four Point Adventures’ Todd Rogers and OVR Magazine’s Editor-At-Large Sean P. Holman, a veteran of the off-road industry and advocate for public lands access, and and its two Feature Editors, husband-and-wife duo Andy and Mercedes Lilienthal led fireside discussions on adventure, gear selection, and lessons learned from the trail.

Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona, is the premier overlanding event for discovering new off-road products, innovative vehicle builds, and connecting with the adventure community. It’s the largest overland show in the world and is held each year Fort Tuthill in Flagstaff, Arizona.
For 2026, Hankook Tire hosted select showgoers at the CAMP Dynapro Experience for four days of group camping, education, a pre-run activity, and an on-site educational series.
”CAMP Dynapro was created to build genuine, long-term relationships with people who truly live the off-road and overlanding lifestyle.
For us, it is not just about showing products — it is about listening to real stories, sharing experiences together, and creating a space where the brand can connect with the community in a more authentic way.
We believe trust is built through real-world experiences, honest conversations, and a shared passion for the journey, not through one-time marketing moments.
Through CAMP Dynapro, Hankook hopes to keep growing that connection, learn directly from the community, and become a brand that is not only seen in the off-road space, but genuinely respected and supported within it.”
said Youngwoo Kim, Director of Marketing Communications at Hankook Tire USA
The experience also highlighted Hankook’s Dynapro tire lineup, including the all-terrain AT2 Xtreme, rugged-terrain XT, and mud-terrain MT2 models designed specifically for overlanding and off-road adventures.
Pre-Expo Adventures: Grand Canyon Airport & Astrophotography
Overlanding enthusiasts from across North America gathered for Overland Expo West 2026, with CAMP Dynapro attendees experiencing the event through Hankook Tire’s unique lens.
The crew experienced a pre-run to the Historical Grand Canyon Airfield in Red Butte, Arizona, testing their vehicles and Dynapro tires on varied terrain. CAMP Dynapro attendees also participated in an Astrophotography workshop led by Aim Lorejas before exploring Overland Expo West the following day.

Fireside Conversations with Industry Experts
The CAMP Dynapro Experience immersed adventurers into many topics, including vehicle inspections, discussing the importance of matching tires to the expedition you’re planning, what tools you should use when planning an off-road trip, and sharing experiences around the campfire.
The featured veteran experts leading the fireside chat included OVR Magazine’s Editor-At-Large and newly appointed Executive Director of SEMA’s Off-Road Business Association (ORBA), Sean P. Holman, and its two Feature Editors, husband-and-wife duo Andy and Mercedes Lilienthal and Four Points Adventures’ Todd Rogers,
They talked about how they got into this industry, how they navigated through challenging and memorable experiences, and answered questions on what did (or didn’t work) for them along the way.
“I was honored to host a fireside conversation with my friends the Lilienthals for the OVR / Hankook Tire CAMP Dynapro Experience,” Holman said.“With deep experience in the off-road and overlanding space, we shared our experiences, tips, and told a few fun stories. It was also great to be able to talk through the relaunch of SEMA’s Off-Road Business Association and detail the ways that we are advocating for access to public lands and supporting businesses in the off-road space.”
Expert Insights: Lessons from the Trail
The trio talked about learning through failure, getting tips from locals or other adventurers, investing in good gear to help you along the way (especially reputable tires like those from Dynapro and Hankook Tire), and more.
They shared off-road tales and rally recaps as they took camp attendees through an immersive experience where the best track to take is the one yet traveled on.

“It was great to share our stories of travel and adventure with the Hankook and OVR Magazine group,” Andy Lilienthal said.“It’s incredible to see how in 20 years, I myself have gone from being a newbie to someone who’s now instructing at Overland Expo and for events like this fireside chat, along with my wife, Mercedes.”
None of this happens by itself, however. “From working in the automotive aftermarket, to going feet-first back into full-time freelance journalism, the ability to succeed takes work,” Lilienthal added.“After all, anything that’s rewarding, from travel to truck builds, requires effort and sacrifice. However, in the end it’s worth it.”
It was great to talk about some of the couple’s recent adventures; from our Baltic Sea travels to their cross-continent TransAmerica Trail trip that lasted 29 days self-supported to the tune of 25 mph on average—Lilienthal hopes sharing stories of their travels and adventures might just inspire people to break out of their shell and take a trip. “It might just change your life.”

Dynapro: Off-Road Tires: Technology Built for Overlanding Adventures
Choosing the right overlanding tires depends on your adventure vehicle setup and typical terrain—from highway driving to extreme off-road conditions. Hankook includes several sub-brands catering to diverse vehicle and product types, no matter if you’re traveling on tarmac or tackling challenging terrain off of it.
Dynapro represents Hankook Tire’s dedicated off-road tire lineup, offering overlanding and off-roading enthusiasts premium all-terrain, rugged-terrain, and mud-terrain options engineered to give you dynamic yet comfortable driving in any environment, no matter if it’s on-road tarmac or off-road trails.

Dynapro AT2 Xtreme: All-Terrain Versatility
Dynapro tires include dense, robust design technology that exhibits outstanding grip force and durability when the going gets tough. For instance, the Dynapro AT2 Xtreme all-terrain tires boast multi-directional grooves and sipes to provide traction in any direction. They also have biting block edges and aggressive shoulders and sidewalls to enhance grip and a tire design that reduces road noise.
The AT2 Xtreme serves as an ideal overlanding tire for mixed-terrain adventures, balancing off-road capability with on-road comfort and is Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) Rated. The AT2 Xtreme comes with a 60k treadwear warranty for LT-metric specs, and 70k for P-metric sizes.

Dynapro XT: Rugged Meets Comfort
If you’re looking for a tire that provides a comfortable and quiet ride without giving up off-road access, the Dynapro XT ”Rugged-Terrain” tire is positioned between the AT2 Xtreme and the mud-terrain tire.
Hankook says its proprietary compound increases mileage, provides low rolling resistance, resist cuts and chips allowing for 50k tread warranty. The XT is also Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) qualified by independent testing.
Dynapro MT2: Mud-Terrain Dominance
For serious off-road enthusiasts tackling mud, rocks, and extreme terrain, the Dynapro MT2 delivers the aggressive traction overlanding adventures demand. If you’re looking for meaty mud-terrain tires, then the Dynapro MT2 mud-terrain tire should be on your list.
This mud-terrain tire includes sidewall puncture protectors to help protect your tires from gravel or trail-induced damage. The MT2 includes reinforced shoulders and “mud-and-stone ejectors” that maximizes grip by kicking out mud and stones, while protecting its grooves from stone punctures.
The Dynapro MT2 also has oversized tread blocks that provide serious off-road traction without giving up on on-road comfort.

The Dynapro AT2 Xtreme, XT, and MT2 represent Hankook’s commitment to producing overlanding tires that balance off-road capability with on-road comfort and durability without compromising traction and functionality for your vehicle. They’re a global company that’s building brand awareness and trust in their products.
