The bigger question, of course, is longevity.

According to 3M, the restoration should last one to two years before another treatment may be necessary. After living with the repair for a couple of months, our Lexus’ headlights continue to look excellent with no signs of hazing returning.

Parking in a garage or shaded area can help extend the life of the coating by reducing UV exposure. Regular washing and occasional application of replacement 3M Clear Coat Wipes can also help preserve clarity. Vehicles parked outdoors full-time may require more frequent touch-ups than those stored inside.
